Reflecting on this past year there has been so much happening and going on that it is hard to believe that we’re already in 2022, sometimes it feels like we’re almost still processing 2020!
If 2020 has taught us anything here at the studio it’s that we absolutely love creating a unique and empowering experience for every single lady that walks through the door! An experience that lets you forget about what is happening out in the real world for a few hours. Every woman that walks through our doors are here for different reasons; doing this as a gift for them, something to have for themselves, they want to rediscover the old them. But the result is always the same and something clicks about halfway through the session that this whole experience is entirely and unselfishly for them and it’s exactly what they needed.
Have you ever heard of burnout? Throughout 2020 and 2021 it feels like we all were beginning to read the signs of when we reached our limits and were about the hit the breaking point. It’s a weird that we never really realized it before everything started going downhill with the outbreak of COVID-19, almost like before there was nothing to justify that we were breaking except that we just couldn’t handle everything on our plate. Finally we are able to be more forgiving with ourselves on what we can and can’t handle, and what we can’t handle is valid and okay. We worked on our mental health and taking care of us.
That’s why in 2022 we should celebrate growth and how far we have all come from just a mere two years ago. Time to invest in all aspects of ourselves and do what makes us feel good and brings us joy! If you have been thinking about doing a session for years, it’s something on your bucket list, your friend has done one and raved about it, or you just want to do a little something for you (cause you totally freaking deserve this)…..NOW is the time girl!
The first step is always the hardest but the reward is oh so sweet! Our number one goal is to make sure that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. We include hair and makeup for all of our sessions to give the full pampering experience, and also have a client closet available for you to browse through. Jackie, our amazing photographer will have you covered during your whole session with your favorite tunes, posing help, and so many laughs! Boudoir is for everyone and every body!
So the million dollar question this year is… will 2022 be the year you invest in yourself?
